Welcome to www.ajinomotoloyalty.com ("Web App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this Web App, including the loyalty program, rewards, and services managed by Ajinomoto Malaysia Berhad ("Ajinomoto", "we", or "our").

By registering an account or using any part of www.ajinomotoloyalty.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Web App immediately.

GENERAL USE OF THE WEB APP

1.1 Permitted Users and Account Integrity

Access to and use of this Web App is restricted to food business operators in Malaysia (including but not limited to hawkers, restaurants, food trucks, catering businesses, and home-based food businesses) who are at least 18 years of age. Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and usage of the Web App. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify user eligibility and business status at any time and to suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice in the event of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information, suspected fraudulent activity, misuse of the Web App, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Rights of Modification and System Availability

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or terminate any feature, function, content, or part of the Web App, loyalty programme, or these Terms and Conditions by publishing the revised terms on www.ajinomotoloyalty.com. Continued access to or use of the Web App shall constitute acceptance of such revisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to access, the Web App, including but not limited to technical disruptions, system failures, or unauthorised access.

PURPOSE OF THE WEB APP

The Web App functions as a business support platform where users can:

(a) Earn membership points by submitting valid receipts of Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad product purchases.
(b) Redeem points for professional kitchen gear, rewards, or vouchers.
(c) Complete "Missions" to earn bonus points and unlock badges.
(d) Access business-scale recipes (Recipe Biz) and industry trends (Biz Talk).

ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Points are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

RECEIPT SUBMISSION & POINT VALIDATION

4.1 Validity

Receipts must be submitted within three (3) months from the date of purchase.

4.2 Calculation

Points are calculated based on the total amount before discount for participating Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad products. Points shall be awarded based on the total purchase value of participating products before any discounts, rebates, vouchers, or promotional deductions, unless otherwise specified. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to determine product eligibility and the final points allocation at its sole discretion.

4.3 Verification

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to reject any receipt that is blurry, altered, duplicated, or does not clearly show an Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad product. Rejected receipts may be flagged for manual admin review. All submitted receipts are subject to verification by Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to reject, suspend, or request further verification for any receipt that is blurry, incomplete, altered, duplicated, previously submitted, or does not clearly display the purchase details, participating Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad product(s), purchase date, retailer details, and transaction amount. Rejected receipts may be flagged for manual administrative review.

4.4 Proof of Purchase and Audit Rights

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to request the original receipt, supporting purchase documentation, or product packaging as proof of purchase at any time. Failure to provide valid supporting documents within the stipulated timeframe may result in receipt rejection, points forfeiture, or account suspension.

REDEMPTION & FULFILLMENT

5.1 Order Processing and Delivery

Redemption orders will be processed on business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) and will be delivered within 3–7 business days from the date of redemption confirmation.

5.2 Courier and Tracking

Deliveries will be made via a third-party courier service. A tracking number will be provided once the order has been shipped. Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond the company’s control, including but not limited to weather, transport disruptions, or courier delays.

5.3 Delivery Accuracy and Failed Shipments

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details. If an order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information, re-delivery may incur additional charges. In cases of undeliverable shipments due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will attempt re-delivery or issue a refund where applicable. Customers must notify the company within 10 business days of a failed or undelivered shipment; otherwise, the order may be forfeited or re-delivery charges may apply.

5.4 Stock Availability

Redemptions are subject to stock availability. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to substitute items of equivalent value or provide alternative remedies if stock is unavailable.

5.5 Limitation of Liability

Delivery tracking is provided via third-party logistics systems. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by the courier service, including but not limited to late delivery, damaged goods, or lost shipments.

DISCLAIMERS

6.1 General Information

Content in "Recipe Biz" and "Biz Talk" is for general business informational purposes and does not constitute professional nutritional or financial advice.

6.2 Cooking Safety

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad is not liable for any injuries or adverse effects arising from the preparation of recipes found on www.ajinomotoloyalty.com.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All logos, recipes, and digital assets on www.ajinomotoloyalty.com are owned by or licensed to Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad. Users may use content for personal/business reference but may not reproduce it for commercial sale.

USER SUBMISSIONS

By submitting receipts, feedback, or mission-related content, you grant Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual right to use, reproduce, store, verify, and display such submissions for the purposes of administering the loyalty program, improving services, and carrying out marketing or promotional activities. Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad may review, moderate, or remove content at its discretion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from technical disruptions of the Web App, incorrect point balances due to system errors, or the use of redeemed rewards.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad and its stakeholders from any claims or legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the loyalty system.

PRIVACY

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Privacy Policy available on /privacypolicy.cshtml.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.

PROTECTION AGAINST MISUSE & FRAUD

To protect the integrity of the program and its stakeholders, the following strictly applies:

(a) Anti-Fraud
Any attempt to manipulate the system, including but not limited to: uploading forged/fake receipts, using automated scripts/bots, or exploiting system bugs to gain points, will result in immediate account suspension.

(b) Point Forfeiture
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the right to void any points or "claw back" redeemed rewards if they were obtained through fraudulent or suspicious activity.

(c) Legal Action
We reserve the right to take legal action against any user who intentionally causes financial loss or reputational damage to Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad through misuse of the Web App.

(d) Audit Right
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad may request the original physical copy of a submitted receipt for auditing purposes at any time. Failure to provide it may result in the rejection of points.

ELIGIBILITY

14.1 Primary Eligibility

This Program is exclusively for end-user Food Business Operators (e.g., individual restaurant owners, hawkers, café operators, and professional caterers) who purchase Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad products for their own business consumption.

14.2 Strict Exclusion of Middle-Men

Participation is strictly prohibited for entities or individuals acting as wholesalers, distributors, sub-distributors, retailers, or stockists.

Employees, agents, and family members of Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad distributors or retail partners are ineligible to participate or claim points on behalf of their customers.

The Program is intended for the party whose business name or details appear on the purchase invoice as the food business partner, not the seller.

14.3 Anti-Proxy & Anti-Hoarding Clause

Wholesalers and distributors are strictly forbidden from:

(a) Creating accounts on behalf of their customers without express written consent from Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad.
(b) Collecting, "harvesting," or withholding physical or digital receipts from customers to upload into their own accounts or fake accounts.
(c) Offering to "manage" points for their customers.

14.4 Right to Verification & Audit

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad reserves the absolute right to verify the legitimacy of any account. This includes:

(a) Requesting SSM Business Registration Number or Premise Licenses to prove the user actually operates a food business.
(b) Conducting on-site spot checks at the business premise to verify product usage.
(c) Cross-referencing receipt data with distributor sales records.

14.5 Penalties for Misuse

If Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, at its sole discretion, suspects that an account has been created by a middle-man or that receipts have been diverted from an actual food operator to a fake/proxy account:

(a) The account will be permanently blacklisted without prior notice.
(b) All accumulated points and pending redemptions will be immediately forfeited.

16.6 Multi-Business & Multi-Outlet Management

(a) Consolidated Accounts: A single Master Account may manage multiple outlets, provided all outlets are owned by the same legal entity or individual.
(b) Ownership Verification: Users must provide valid SSM Registrations or Premise Licenses for every outlet added to prove a common ownership link.
(c) Prohibition of Proxy Accounts: "Pooling" receipts from unrelated third-party businesses is strictly forbidden. Any account found managing businesses with no legal ownership connection will be flagged as a Proxy Account (Wholesaler/Distributor) and terminated.
(d) Forfeiture: If outlets are found to be non-existent or unrelated to the account holder, the account will be blacklisted and all points forfeited.

RECEIPT SUBMISSION & STRICT VALIDATION RULES

To ensure fairness and prevent misuse, the following receipt rules apply:

4.1 Format

Only printed, official tax invoices or machine-generated receipts are accepted.

4.2 Handwritten Receipts

Handwritten receipts are strictly NOT accepted and will be automatically rejected.

4.3 Recency

Receipts must be submitted within three (3) months of the purchase date. Submissions outside this period will not be accepted.

4.4 Unique Submission

Each receipt can only be uploaded once. Any attempt to reuse a receipt across multiple accounts or re-upload a previously approved receipt will result in a permanent ban.

4.5 Authenticity

Receipts must be original and clear. Fake, altered, edited (digitally or physically), or tampered receipts are strictly prohibited.

4.6 Content

The receipt must clearly show the Store Name, Date, Receipt Number, and the specific Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad products purchased. Submissions lacking any of these details will be rejected.
